Both see what they expect to sea. But what you cannot normally see is when treacery is in the offing. What with four Transcend engineers in the badlands of Athens attempting to correct a problem in the Peter that regulates the ongoing terraforming process of the fourth planet in the Canaan system, what Erin could not see is that with these engineers also come trouble.
With that also goes any chance of the reader putting Athens down before finishing the book. Enjoy."

- Tough family. I am glad the characters have expanded their family despite the loaming war.
I did not realize Governor Tanis picked another Governor to replace her when she left new Canaan. I may have to reread the New Canaan series. - Just amazing how it ties everything together. Very enjoyable read that was worth the wait. Makes you want to just hug the little family and give them a full platoon of Marines.
- Erin seems to be a character who through no fault of her own is alawys in the thick of things. Having Isa take a more active role in this book added to it's enjoyment.
- Along with all the other Aeon 14 books Athens is written very well. The continued character development thru out the Building New Canaan series has been a joy to follow. Finding out what developed the traits of characters you read about in other branches of the verse is interesting to say the least. The action and detail is very thrilling
- The galaxy sized drama continues, and we follow all the characters like the family they have become. Love the stories, but the personalities give them life.
Keep them coming please. It is a sad fact that I can read them faster than they can be written, so write fast! - the whole Aeon 14 series is great. if you like SF, you will like this.
